Overview

We helped Sportly launch a high-energy brand and intuitive fitness tracking app that motivates users to move, perform, and conquer their goals.

Sportly is a modern fitness and sports tracking app tailored for athletes, runners, and everyday movement seekers. The founders approached us with a bold vision: to create a vibrant, community- driven platform that encourages consistency and celebrates progress — both solo and social.

From branding to UI design, we partnered closely to bring this idea to life with a fresh, mobile-first product experience.

Challenge

The goal was to build an identity and digital experience that stood out in a crowded fitness app market — one that felt energetic yet clean, professional yet personal. The UI needed to be intuitive for first-time users while also offering depth for serious athletes.

We tackled the project from the ground up — developing a full brand identity and an extensive mobile design system, while ensuring visual and functional cohesion across every touchpoint.

Visual System & Brand Guidelines

Sportly’s identity is built on clarity, energy, and movement. We established a modern design system that feels athletic yet accessible — ready to scale across screens and surfaces.

Web App Dashboard

Sportly’s web dashboard is designed for performance analysis and long-term engagement. Built to complement the mobile experience, it allows users to dive deeper into their activity data and training goals.

Mobile App Experience

The UI is structured to support athletes through every stage of their workout journey — tracking distance, visualizing progress, discovering routes, and sharing milestones with the community. From onboarding to post-run summaries, every screen is crafted to keep momentum high.

App Icon Design

We designed Sportly’s app icon to visually represent performance and movement — without relying on letters or cliché fitness symbols.

Inspired by speedometers and activity meters, the icon uses a bold circular gauge to suggest momentum, tracking, and progression. The fluorescent green ensures standout visibility on any device, while the minimal line work keeps it sharp and scalable — from Apple Watch to App Store preview.

Whether as a tiny notification or on a full-screen splash, the icon feels active, modern, and uniquely “Sportly.”

Branded Assets

Sportly’s bold brand system extends into the real world — from activewear to gym essentials. We designed versatile assets including: Custom water bottles, Branded shaker tumblers, Apparel and Keychain tags for sport bags.

The Results

Our collaboration with Sportly delivered more than just polished visuals — it resulted in a cohesive, high-performance product ecosystem that users love. By combining an intuitive design system with goal-driven user flows, Sportly saw immediate traction and user engagement across both web and mobile platforms.
